Return on Environment: A MONTCO Study Underscores the Economic Value of Our Green Spaces
Montgomery County published the results of a special “return on environment” study that provides an economic analysis of protected open space for the County and its citizens. This report demonstrates that protected open space adds significant value to Montgomery County’s economy, with benefits for businesses, governments, and households. The report bolsters the work of our ten Pennsylvania Bird Towns in the County and the many other conservation driven organizations that work in the County.
